Buying an electric car is now one of the most popular discussions in our country as well. More and more drivers recognize the advantages of electric mobility, such as the extremely low cost of use, the absence of traffic fees and the leading technology.<\/p>\n

However, anyone who starts looking for a used electric vehicle in Greece quickly faces a major obstacle: the very limited domestic market and high prices. For this reason, the import of electric car from abroad<\/b> \u2014and especially from Germany\u2014 is today the smartest and most advantageous solution.<\/p>\n

Why is Germany the "paradise" of electric vehicles?;<\/b><\/h3>\n

The German market is many years ahead of the curve in adopting electric vehicles. This creates three huge advantages for the Greek buyer:<\/p>\n

    Endless variety of models:<\/b> There are tens of thousands of used electric cars available on European platforms at any given time. This means you can find exactly the model you want, in the color you want and with the premium equipment package that is rarely available in Greece.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Rapid fleet renewal (Leasing):<\/b> Most companies and individuals in Germany replace their electric cars every 3 to 4 years. As a result, the market is flooded with \u00abfresh\u00bb vehicles, in excellent condition, that still have their factory battery warranty active.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Competitive prices:<\/b> Due to the huge supply, the prices of used electric cars in Germany are significantly lower than the Greek market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The big advantage in customs clearance: Zero or minimal duties<\/b><\/h3>\n

    If there is one sector that the import of electric cars literally "sweeps", it is customs clearance.<\/p>\n

    The Greek state, in the context of promoting green mobility, provides huge incentives. Pure electric vehicles (BEV) are completely exempt from the registration fee<\/b>. This means that the biggest "puzzle" of importation \u2014which in conventional cars depends on the LPG\u2014 is eliminated here, making the final import cost completely predictable and low.<\/p>\n
